Ingredients:

4lb chicken pieces skinned
3t lemon juice
3 garlic cloves minced
1 1/2t soy sauce
1/2t fine herbs
1 1/2t turmeric
1/4t freshly ground pepper
3/4t ground ginger
3 c plain yogurt
1/2t cinnamon
2 onions finely chopped
1/2t ground cloves

Preparation:

1Rub chicken with garlic , fine herbs and pepper. Combine remaining
ingredients in large bowl.
2Add chicken , turning to coat well. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 24 hours turning occasionally.
3Preheat oven to 350. Remove chicken from marinade and place in single
layer in large roasting pan.
4Tent with foil and bake 30 minutes.
5Remove foil, turn pieces and bake about 30 minutes longer or until
lightly browned, basting occasionally with marinade.
6Serve immediately.
