Ingredients:
Cottage cheese, cut in squares 500 g
Ginger / garlic, crushed 2 tsp
Green chillies, finely chopped 4-6
Spring onions, finely chopped 4
Chili sauce 3 tbsp
Chili garlic sauce 2 1/2 tbsp
Tomato ketchup 3 tbsp
Soya sauce 3 tbsp
Cornflour 3 tbsp
Water 1 cup
Oil 3 tbsp + oil for deep frying
Salt to taste
Method:
* Mix cornflour with some water to make a thin paste. Heat oil. Dip
pieces of cheese in cornflour and deep fry on high heat quickly, till a
light golden.
* Remove from oil and set aside. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a saucepan and fry
ginger / garlic paste and green chillies in it on medium heat about 4
minutes.
* Add all the sauces and salt and continue to cook for a few minutes
more. Add 1/2 cup water and cook till it boils, add spring onions and
the remaining cornflour to thicken the sauce.
* Finally add the cottage cheese, stir to coat with gravy.
* Serve as a side dish with chicken and rice.
